The module manages fan activation so the engine cooling fan engages when coolant temperature or A/C demand requires airflow. It is the piece to reach for when the fan stops cycling or runs constantly.

Built For Performance

Solid-state switching for smooth, repeatable fan activation

Sealed housing guards internal electronics from heat and moisture

Factory-style connector layout for direct plug-in replacement

Rated to handle the current draw of the cooling fan circuit

Compact footprint matches the original mounting point

Fits These Machines

for Ford

for Lincoln

for Mercury

On-The-Job Use

Resolving an engine cooling fan that never turns on and lets temperature climb

Fixing a fan that stays on full time and drains the battery

Replacing a relay module that has overheated or corroded at the terminals

Cooling system service on older Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury cars

Specs At A Glance

Part Number(s)

940002904

Type

Cooling fan control relay module

Function

Fan power switching

Connection

Factory-style plug

Good To Know

Q: How do I know the relay module is the fault and not the fan motor? A: Test for power at the fan connector with the module commanded on.
