It restores accurate air metering so the ECU can balance fuel trim, idle quality, and throttle response. Install it when a failed sensor brings on a check engine light, rough running, or poor fuel economy.

Built For Performance

Cross-references OEM numbers 13712247002 and 0928400314 for confident matching

Housing and connector molded to match the original mounting points

Hot-film sensing element delivers consistent readings across the rev range

Sealed electronics resist underhood heat, vibration, and moisture

Plug-and-play connector mates with the factory harness without splicing

Fits These Machines

for BMW 318 TD Touring (E46), 2003 to 2005

On-The-Job Use

Restoring proper fuel trim after a failed meter

Clearing check engine codes tied to air flow readings

Routine maintenance on high-mileage diesel tourings

Diagnostic swaps when chasing rough idle or low power complaints

Specs At A Glance

Part Number(s)

13712247002, 0928400314

Type

Mass air flow sensor

Placement

Intake air path

Connection

Factory-style plug

Good To Know

Q: Will this sensor need coding after installation? A: No coding is required on this application.
