Refund policy

Solid Spare offers a 30-day return policy starting from the date your order is delivered. Items may be returned within this period if they meet our return eligibility requirements.

To qualify for a return, products must be unused, uninstalled, and in brand-new condition. Items must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging and include all original parts and accessories. Products that have been installed, modified, repaired, altered, or damaged are not eligible for return.

The 30-day window and unused-condition rules apply to voluntary returns. They do not restrict eligible claims under our Warranty Policy or remedies for items that arrive damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from their description.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 1 hour of being placed, provided the items have not yet been fulfilled. After that window the order has entered processing and can no longer be cancelled, though you may request a return once it arrives. Items identified as final sale before purchase cannot be cancelled. To cancel, log in to your account and select the order, or contact us right away.

Shipping Costs

Standard outbound shipping is free within the contiguous 48 United States and Washington, DC. We do not deduct an original outbound shipping charge from your refund. Customers pay return shipping for approved voluntary returns. Solid Spare covers return shipping and any replacement shipping for approved warranty claims and items that arrive damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from their description. Please contact us before sending an item back so we can provide the appropriate instructions and prepaid label.

Restocking Fee

A restocking fee of up to 25% of the item price may be deducted from your refund on returns made by choice, such as an item ordered by mistake, no longer needed, or that does not suit your application.

The restocking fee does not apply when the return is our fault. If an item arrives damaged or defective, was shipped in error, or does not match its product description, we waive the restocking fee in full, cover the cost of return shipping, and cover any replacement shipping. Please contact us in these cases rather than submitting a return request, so that we can apply the waiver before your return is processed.

Any voluntary-return restocking fee reflects the inspection, handling, and repackaging needed to return the item to saleable stock and will not exceed 25% of its price. We will disclose the percentage and amount before authorizing the return. If we do not disclose a fee before authorization, none will be deducted. Approved warranty claims are also exempt from restocking fees.

Final-sale Items

Items identified as final sale before purchase are excluded from voluntary returns and cancellations. This does not remove eligible remedies for damage, defects, incorrect items, misdescription, or claims under our Warranty Policy. Contact us for safe shipping instructions before returning any hazardous item. Nothing in this policy restricts rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

How to Submit a Return Request

  1. Log in to your account using your email address.
  2. Check your email for the six-digit verification code and enter it on the website.
  3. Select the order containing the item(s) you wish to return.
  4. Choose the item(s) if your order includes multiple products.
  5. Select a return reason and add any notes for our team.
  6. Click Request Return to submit your request.

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, you will receive an email with return instructions and, if applicable, a return shipping label. Please follow the instructions carefully when sending the item back.

Once the returned item is received and inspected, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, less any applicable restocking fee, depending on your financial institution.
