Active Grille Shutter W/MOTOR 84651500 For 2017-22 Chevrolet Colorado GMC Canyon

Active Grille Shutter with Motor for Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon

This active grille shutter with motor, part number 84651500, controls airflow through the grille to improve aerodynamics and warm-up on 2017 to 2022 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon trucks.

Overview

This active grille shutter assembly includes the motor that opens and closes the grille vanes based on engine temperature and driving conditions. The unit improves aerodynamic efficiency at speed and helps the engine reach operating temperature faster in cold weather. It fits 2017 to 2022 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon trucks as a replacement for a damaged or seized shutter.

Built For Performance

• Integrated motor drives the shutter vanes open and closed automatically
• Vane assembly regulates airflow to reduce drag at highway speed
• Closed position speeds engine warm-up in cold conditions
• Direct replacement for part number 84651500
• Bolt-on mounting matches the factory grille opening layout
• Housing built to withstand engine bay heat and road debris

Fits These Machines

• for Chevrolet Colorado 2017 to 2022
• for GMC Canyon 2017 to 2022

On-The-Job Use

• Replacing a broken or stuck shutter that set a check engine light
• Restoring automatic grille airflow control after a front end repair
• Improving warm-up times during cold weather driving
• Returning highway aerodynamics to factory behavior

Good To Know

Q: Will this shutter need calibration after installation? A: Active grille shutters often require a relearn or calibration step through a scan tool so the motor knows the full open and closed positions. Q: Can I drive with the shutter stuck open? A: Driving with a failed shutter may trigger a warning light and reduce warm-up efficiency, so replacing it restores normal operation.

Slight variation in finish or dimensions may occur between production runs, and fit can depend on serial number, so confirm compatibility before ordering.
