Blower Motor Resistor Regulator HVAC Heater for 93-97 Volvo 850 9137937

Blower Motor Resistor Regulator HVAC Heater for 93-97 Volvo 850

This blower motor resistor regulator restores controlled fan speeds on the HVAC heater system in 1993 to 1997 Volvo 850 models, and it is referenced by part number 9137937.

Overview

This blower motor resistor regulator controls the fan speeds on the HVAC heater system in 1993 to 1997 Volvo 850 models. It steps voltage to the blower motor so each fan setting produces the right airflow. A direct replacement for a failed resistor that has left the fan stuck on one speed or dead altogether.

Built For Performance

• Multi-speed resistor design that restores each fan setting
• Plug-in connector layout that matches the factory harness
• Housing built to sit in the HVAC blower air stream
• Part number 9137937 for simple cross-reference lookup

Fits These Machines

• for Volvo 850 1993 models
• for Volvo 850 1994 models
• for Volvo 850 1995 models
• for Volvo 850 1996 models
• for Volvo 850 1997 models

On-The-Job Use

• Fixing a heater fan that only works on the highest speed
• Restoring fan speed control after the blower stops responding
• Repairing the HVAC system before cold-weather driving
• Servicing the blower assembly on the Volvo 850 platform

Good To Know

Q: What are the signs of a failed blower motor resistor? A: The fan often works on only one speed, usually high, or stops working on some settings while others continue.

Q: Where is this resistor located on the Volvo 850? A: It typically mounts in the HVAC blower housing near the motor, so confirm the location on your vehicle before ordering.

Slight variation in finish or dimensions may occur between production runs, and fit can depend on serial number, so confirm compatibility before ordering.
