Good To Know

Q: Does this HEI distributor require an external coil? A: No, the HEI design houses the coil and module inside the distributor housing, so no separate coil is needed. Wiring is simplified to a switched 12V source and ground.

Q: Are the spark plug wires pre-assembled? A: The included wire set is supplied as a matched set for the distributor, ready to route to the plugs. Confirm wire routing and firing order for your 289 or 302 before installation.

Slight variation in finish or dimensions may occur between production runs, and fit can depend on serial number, so confirm compatibility before ordering.
