MAF Mass Air Flow Sensor Meter for Nissan Pickup Frontier Xterra 2.4L AFH55-M12

Mass Air Flow Sensor Meter for Nissan

The MAF Mass Air Flow Sensor Meter for Nissan measures the volume of air entering the engine so the ECU can deliver the correct fuel mixture, cross-referencing OEM part AFH55-M12.

Overview

This mass air flow sensor meter for Nissan replaces a failed or dirty unit that causes rough idle, hesitation, or poor fuel economy. The MAF sensor reports intake air volume to the engine computer, keeping the air-fuel ratio accurate across the RPM range. It suits drivers of older Nissan pickups and SUVs performing a direct-fit repair.

Good To Know

Q: Will this sensor fix my check engine light? A: It can clear codes traced to a faulty mass air flow sensor, but you should scan the ECU first to confirm the fault. Other issues can trigger similar codes.

Q: Should I clean or replace my old sensor? A: Cleaning helps only when the element is lightly contaminated. A worn or failed sensing element needs replacement to restore correct readings.

Slight variation in finish or dimensions may occur between production runs, and fit can depend on serial number, so confirm compatibility before ordering.
