Good To Know

Q: Why replace the thermostat and housing together? A: The housing can crack or warp over time, so pairing it with a new thermostat avoids a second repair. It also saves time since the assembly installs as one piece.

Q: Do I need to drain coolant first? A: Yes, drain enough coolant to get below the thermostat level before removal. Refill and bleed the system afterward to avoid air pockets.

Slight variation in finish or dimensions may occur between production runs, and fit can depend on serial number, so confirm compatibility before ordering.
